Name of Feature/Request: To Add Email Button Option On Checks/CC Charge Page
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: : To add a Email quick link button on the Payment page for CC Charges/ Checks | Frequency: We pay roughly 150 bills per week, so this happens with very high frequency. The time it takes to process bill payments has doubled when compared to Quickbooks. | This request is all about reducing the length of time it takes to process bill payments. Doubling the amount of time it takes for us to process the high volume of bills that we do, compared to Quickbooks, is difficult for us to absorb. We’re having to pay our AP person overtime to complete the same amount of work as before our migration.
Attempted Solutions So Far: We have discussed using a third party software like bill.com, but we feel that this is our last resort. We would prefer to keep everything within Striven if we can.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: : There is no email button in the bill payments area, which forces the user to manually download a PDF, open their email, and attach the PDF, making it difficult to send hundreds of emails each week. The email button is a “quick link” that associates with the contacts right off the bat on other screens. | Previously accomplished: We are currently “printing” or “downloading” each pdf. Then we have to open the vendor list, go into the vendor’s contacts, and find the correct contact’s email address. In the body of the email we will typically copy and paste generic text and then fill in the details specific to the vendor we are sending the payment receipt to. We used to use Quickbooks and they had the ability to send an email to the vendor contact right from the payment screen.
