Name of Feature/Request: The ability to add more than 2 currencies on Journal Entries
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: The ability to have multiple currencies on Journal entries to do multiple currency bank transfers | Frequency: Every time they need to do a J/E with multiple currencies | Striven j/e doesn’t allow me to pick a third currency. Scenario: transfer funds between bank accounts for Euro and USD. The entity is based in GBP. If I select the j/e to be in Euro (as you suggest) the USD account is not available to select for the journal line, only GBP or Euro. In short, Striven appears to only allow transactions between an alternate currency and the base currency, not between two alternate currencies.
Missy before me was using a clearing account to make it happen. The accounting system needs to be able to handle multi currencies, and I don’t see that it does. .

Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: Our primary currency for this company is GBP. We have three bank accounts in three currencies: GBP, USD and EUR. What is the best procedure for transferring funds from USD to EUR? The built in transfer process doesn’t allow to go from USD to EUR. Thanks. | Previously accomplished: Our old accounting system could do this very simply and then when you looked at a balance sheet or any general report, it would be converted to the base currency. However when you are in the transaction itself it would show in the currency/ies you chose for the transaction
