I signed up for Stripe to integrate client portals and online payments. I did NOT have a good experience with their help center, and I think it was overly complicated when it didn’t need to be.
I need to keep things very simple for my team, without 3 different authentications just to log in.
So, curious what y’all think is the better way to go, Stripe or Authorize.net
Hi @ChurchillsATX,
Why is Authorize.Net not an option for your company? We’ve been using them with great success—simple integration, reliable support, and competitive rates. It’s worked well for us, especially in keeping things straightforward for our team without unnecessary complexity. I’d be happy to share more about our experience if you’re interested!
Authorize.net is the other option I can use. I was just looking for some feedback before I have another experience like I did with Stripe.
My needs are simple. I basically need a bridge connecting my bank to the Striven client portals I’m trying to set up, so they can make their own payments online.
Hello @ChurchillsATX! Thank you for creating this post! We really appreciate the opportunity for users to give feedback. Some differences of Stripe Vs Authorize.net is that Stripe allows the use of a card reader and Authorize.net does not. Stripe also has straight forward rates while Authorize.net has flexibility in choosing a payment processor with their own rates.
If you require any further assistance on this topic, feel free to submit a task, hop in a chat, or schedule a meeting with our Support Team and they will be happy to assist you!
@AEC_Billy Thanks for sharing your experience with @ChurchillsATX. We love to see user engagement that promotes beneficial exchange! Its not always a one size fits all and these shares can help with finding an option that’s the best fit!
We use Stripe…rate seems comparable to Authorize.net (we gross $125k on average monthly) but we have 2 readers and it is very simple to use. You do have to charge readers nightly and sometimes they do lose wifi connection. I can even use Stiven via my iPhone to access Stripe reader!
