Name of Feature/Request: Show calendar availability related to shifts
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Frequency: daily | For Miles/Striven, as the company grows, we are expanding our shifts to cover more hours outside of the normal 8-5 business hours. It is difficult to easily see if/when a colleague is available for scheduling just by looking at the calendar. It would be SUPER helpful if their shifts were highlighted or the off shift time was grayed out (just visually, not to block anything) to clarify. Maybe this can be accomplished with the use of a Shift Event type or something like that.
This would also be super useful to subscribers who have different shifts set up in their companies. Some subscribers have part-time shifts or weekend shifts or whatever that works differently than what we use for Miles/Striven so having shifts visually displayed could immensely improve the use of the Striven calendar for scheduling purposes.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Some staff have attempted to block time on their calendars to show which days they are working which shifts since they don’t always work the same time frames each day.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Previously accomplished: It isn’t. We have to manually go look and see when an employee’s shift is or wait for the scheduling conflict checker to tell you they don’t have a shift when you attempt to schedule something with them outside their shift.
