Reposition the Barcode Scanning Interface to the Bottom of Invoice Page

The Problem: The active barcode scanner input field sits at the top of the invoice page, while newly scanned items populate below it. After entering more than two items, the itemized list quickly scrolls out of view, obscuring running totals and action targets like “Save” and “Close”. Field workers have to constantly drop physical materials to manually scroll up and down, causing a major bottleneck.

The Proposed Solution: Permanently anchor the barcode scanning input field to the bottom pane of the mobile invoice screen, directly adjacent to the save and close commands. As items are scanned, the list should scroll upward natively so the user always sees the most recent item scanned, the total, and the save options.

Business Benefit: Eliminates excessive workflow friction and is stated as non-negotiable for achieving complete system adoption from the team moving off QuickBooks.
