Name of Feature/Request: Report To View Transaction data by location.
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: To create a custom report using Report Builder (Beta) to be able to report on Transactions by Customer Location | Frequency: Everyday - at least 75% of our customers | We need to be able to see what school locations are actually purchasing the productions within a school district. We need to see AR and gross sales by location. We cannot make them individual customers because we also have districts calling and asking if we have any open invoices for any of their schools. The ideal solution would be parent/child or customer/sub-customer. In Quickbooks Enterprise, it is called “jobs”. However, if that cannot happen, we need to be able to tie every school, which would have to become its own customer, back to a school district by some kind of association or grouping. On the screenshot below, you can see our organization of the sports at Ohio State University in Quickbooks Enterprise 2018. The top item to the left shows the AR for the entire University. Underneath are the sports/departments and the AR for that single location by itself. On the right is the entire list of estimates, sales orders, invoices, payments and credit memos for that sport, which happens to be baseball in this example.
Attempted Solutions So Far: I have tried to tie the sales order to the customer location, using a custom field. However, no drop down for location is available. Also, current sales orders/invoices may not tie to the actual purchasing location, since the billing and shipping address might be different from the school purchasing the item(s)
