Name of Feature/Request: postdated tasks

What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Frequency: rarely, roughly once every 1-2 months | We in Support receive occasional requests for tasks (usually Importsant Add/Move/Change requests) that are submitted well in advance of when the task should be performed. Our operating procedures do not allow us to leave tasks open or on hold for extended periods of time (>1 week) without any technical steps being taken. Past guidance in this regard has been to cancel the original task and create new tasks within the 1-week range of the technical action being taken.
This not only increases the number of cancelled tasks, but adds additional points of failure that could cause a request to be mismanaged. The ability to post-date tasks would keep our metrics clean and allow us to provide better service to our clients.
