Name of Feature/Request: Need ability to see audit trail of discount amounts per item on Sales Orders and Invoices
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Have an audit log/tracking on discounts calculated per item in Sales Order and Invoices so that the discounts on each item have a paper trail. Or audit log for the item itself vs. on the sales order. | Frequency: Potentially anytime there is a return which is daily. | There is not a good way other than trying to re-work a discount to see if it matches however this is very time consuming and also there is no way to see history on a sales order so if the invoice was started from a sales order, discount given and then the sales order was changed, there is no way to figure out what discounts were given to what items. This information was added to the system and it seems like any information added to the system is Importsant and should be saved in an audit log or history. There is no current solution for this in the system causing the company to lose money on any return with discounts

It is not stored anywhere once the amount of the discount is calculated [16:24] Dustin Shepard: Okay, this definitely needs to be fixed. How can we process a return without the proper information? Now the company loses money for something that should definitely have a record [16:24] Dustin Shepard: There should be an audit log or something on that field to record the proper information [16:27] Courtney: I can certainly open an enhancement request for you if you would like, but it may take some time before it will be implemented after it goes through an internal review process for approval. In the meantime, you might be able to try using the Grouping Feature on Sales Orders to group the items that were discounted all in one spot. [16:27] Courtney:
