Name of Feature/Request: Keep aggregated totals when Refine Results is checked in Report Builder
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Improve the user experience in Report Builder | Frequency: Daily when reports are ran. | This would greatly improve the user experience, and eliminate the step of having to export.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Can export to excel to subtotal and group as needed.

I regularly use the Report Builder and truly appreciate its capabilities as it has become an essential part of my workflow. That said, I’ve encountered two key usability issues that are limiting its efficiency and effectiveness. I wanted to share these with the hope they might be considered for improvement:
- Aggregate Totals Disappear When Filtering Results
Currently, when the “Aggregates” option is enabled, totals are only shown for the full dataset. As soon as a user applies filters or refines the report, these totals disappear. Since one of the primary reasons for filtering is to analyze subgroup totals, this behavior disrupts the workflow significantly.
Current workaround: Filter the report, export to Excel, and manually calculate totals.
Suggested improvement: Retain and display aggregate totals for filtered results directly within the Report Builder. This would save time and streamline analysis significantly.

When adjusting column widths for better visibility, the data entry fields in the filtering panel also resize—often becoming too narrow to view or input data effectively. This can lead to errors and uncertainty in filtering.
Impact: Difficult to verify what has been typed into filter fields Unclear if a filter has been applied at all
Suggested improvement: Separate the filter input fields from the grid layout Place filter inputs below the column header and above the filter buttons to provide consistent and adequate space regardless of column width adjustments

Both of these improvements would greatly enhance usability and efficiency when working with reports.
