Name of Feature/Request: Include an option for the Project Board status to Include On Hold Tasks
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Add an option when configuring your Project Board view to “Include On Hold Tasks” Things to Consider: Currently On Hold tasks do not appear within the Project Board and will only be visible when viewing a project from the Milestone View.Process: At any given time, 80% of our tasks are set to an ‘on hold’ status. We refer to it as pending. These may be open requests to customers that haven’t been confirmed by them or tasks requiring product that is on backorder. We certainly want them to be visible but we color code them on our calendar as pending. That way, when a customer calls to confirm, anyone here can change the status to ‘open’ and the color changes to green on the calendar letting the field tech know that the appointment is confirmed. Our field crew uses the calendar and project management the project board.
