Default Project Board view to All Tasks instead of single milestone's tasks

Name of Feature/Request: Project Board default to All Tasks

What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur with this: 1) Mitigate risk of viewer seeing only subset of tasks in a project when looking at the project board, thus missing open tasks that require attention; 2) save time of changing to “All Tasks” every time Project Board is opened

Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven: Additional Why: the current setup of defaulting to an arbitrary Milestone provides zero benefit; Before Striven, for us tasks were listed in Excel, where tasks would only be filtered by Milestone when a filter was activated.

Agree with this. Defaulting to a milestone makes it easy to miss tasks and adds an extra step every time. “All Tasks” as the default just makes more sense—filters should be optional.

Hi @peter and everyone else who commented. This request was reviewed today and we plan to implement this early next year, likely Q1 or Q2. We will be making this a setting choice so you can choose to have to default to all.

Other points to add, in the meantime, you are able to utilize your task list today and search by project and you can see all tasks for that project - and if you are only using Open and Done Statuses - can easily differentiate.

Also when looking at the Milestone list view, you can also include completed work so you can see everything in one view too.

These are just ideas to help today until this is implemented.
