Name of Feature/Request: Custom Reports to Dashboard Widgets
Ability to create a Widget based on a Chart Type (Bar, Pie, Line, Tables, etc.) and link it to a Custom Report. Automatically creates a chart of the specified Type using the custom report data.
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur with this: Allows for live decision-making, improved communication, better visual representation of data, less requirement to pull data to Excel to build graphs. Removes any security concerns with moving data outside Striven.
Attempted solutions so far: Using embed links with Excel graphs - issues with security, framing of graphs, and useability. Requires extra time to create and more training on process. Not very visually-appealing
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven: Other ERPs had built-in Pie Charts. Bar Graphs, and Line Charts showing various company data. Also using Excel to analyze data manually.
