Name of Feature/Request: Check created from approve expense queue does not show customer, sales order, and billable details
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: When adding an expense that is billable, the customer and sales order are chosen, expense request is saved, approved and check created from the Expenses Queue., the check should pull in the customer and sales order and also show that it is billable | Frequency: As often as the customer is using expenses for employees; varies from month to month depending on usage. Difficult to put an actual number on, so I might guess 20 transactions a month as a hypothetical. | Since the expense can be marked to require these two fields, Customer and Sales Order, having those flow through to the check would eliminate the need to go to the check queue, find the check, call up the check, add customer and sales order, save the checkâwould eliminate a number of steps (clicks) plus having to remember to go do these steps if they want the cost to be reflected in the Sales Order profitability.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Forgo using the expense section of Striven, have employee submit an expense manually (either email, paper or discussion) and create (add) a check made out to the employee and add the Customer and Sales Order at that time.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: When adding an expense that is billable, the customer and sales order are chosen, expense request is saved, approved and check created from the Expenses Queue. However, the check does not pull in the customer and sales order or that it was marked billable, which defeats the purpose of the Sales Order Profitability Report. Screen shot below shows the customer/vendor and sales order that was on the expense.
