Name of Feature/Request: Buzz Engagement Reporting & Analytics Builder
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur with this:
-
Time Savings: Currently, measuring employee engagement on Buzz requires manually scrolling through the feed and hand-tallying metrics for individual posts. A dedicated report will automate this, saving HR and management hours of manual administrative work.
-
Quality of Life: This feature will provide immediate visibility into company culture and internal communication efficacy. Management will be able to easily identify top contributors, see which types of posts (or Labels) generate the most interaction, and ensure important announcements are actually being seen and acknowledged.
-
Financial: Better tracking of internal communication helps improve employee alignment and engagement, which are key drivers for employee retention and productivity.
Attempted solutions so far: To date, we have had to manually view individual Buzz posts to check the “Liked by,” “Commented on by,” and “view count” metrics. We have attempted to track these numbers in an external spreadsheet, but this is highly inefficient, prone to human error, and the data becomes instantly outdated the moment a new interaction occurs.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven: The core “Why” behind this request is the need to quantify internal engagement. If we are utilizing Buzz to share company news, policy updates, and team-building content, we need to know if our staff is actually consuming and interacting with that content.
We specifically need the ability to build a Striven Report that queries the following data points:
-
Author
-
Title (with “Contains” filter logic)
-
Label
-
Number of Likes
-
Liked By (Names)
-
Number of Comments
-
Commented On By (Names)
-
View Count
