Allow Vendor Portal Access to update Account Information including Custom Fields in ERP Vendor Dashboard

What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this:

Save time by allowing Vendors manage their account information from the Portal.

Attempted Solutions So Far:

Using a Task type with an ecrypted custom field to transfer the information from the Customer to an ERP user to update the Existing fields on the account.

Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software:

New Landowners(Vendors) are added to the ERP and the Vendor would need to update the account information like locations, Tax Identification number Bank information etc. The ERP users do not want to have to update this information for the Vendor. Some of these fields are in a Custom Field/Section, and some are Static Account fields.Permissions around access to these fields would need to be open to Portal Roles. ERP users must collect sensative data and add it into the Portal.
