Name of Feature/Request: Allow the API to edit Non-Required custom fields without sending every required custom field in the call.
Right now, updating any custom field on a Task through the API requires the request to include a value for every required custom field on that Task. To change one optional field, we first have to GET the Task, then send back all of its required field values in the same request. This adds extra calls and makes integrations fragile. If a new required field is added to Tasks later, every existing integration breaks until it’s updated.
Task custom field updates should be treated as partial updates. Only the fields included in the request should change, and the rest should be left as they are. Required-field validation should apply when a Task is created or when it is tried to get marked “Done”, not when that field is simply left out.
