[17:06] Kanishak: Freetings Ben [17:06] Kanishak: Greetings* [17:11] Ben Brenner: Hi [17:15] Kanishak: Thank you for your patience, Ben [17:18] Kanishak: Could you please elaborate how adding the client ID/Number will help you making things better? Your answer would allow me to advocate on your behalf while creating enhancement request. [17:23] Kanishak: I’m asking this question because we currently don’t have that feature available on Striven. However, I can submit an enhancement request on your behalf. To make this request more effective, I would need a strong reason explaining how this feature could help improve your business. [17:23] Ben Brenner: It helps us locate the client when the survey is responded to that is in this particular email [17:24] Ben Brenner: the Customer Number is unique and matches what is in our CRM, Salesforce [17:24] Ben Brenner: when a survey is filled out (the email in question, include a survey/question) it maps back to a specific record in Salesforce for our reps to follow up. [17:24] Ben Brenner: We also may wish to reference it or display the number to the customer, as wer’re constantly working to educate clients on their assigned client ID [17:25] Ben Brenner: since so many of our customers, especially multi-location clients, have similar names. Customer Number is always unique. [17:27] Kanishak: Thank you for providing the information. [17:29] Kanishak: Could you also assist me with the data set you are currently using because they will be needed as those merge fields change based on the data set? [17:36] Ben Brenner: It’s the Discussion dataset [17:37] Ben Brenner: we’re using that for a workflow to trigger emails [17:37] Ben Brenner: Or maybe it’s actually task [17:37] Ben Brenner: it’s a discussion (external message) triggered 24 hours after task is clsoed [17:40] Kanishak: Noted. Is the Sales Force ID stored in any other field? We might be able to pull that number if it is stored as something else. [17:41] Ben Brenner: It’s not Salesforce ID i’m lokoing to bring over [17:41] Ben Brenner: it’s the Striven-standard customer/vendor number (ID) [17:41] Troy has joined the conversation [17:42] Troy: Greetings Ben, [17:42] Ben Brenner:

[17:42] Ben Brenner: No, they aren’t [17:42] Troy: Gotcha [17:42] Ben Brenner: I need Striven Account Number to be able to easily locate account in Salesforce [17:42] Ben Brenner: We stamp that field in Salesforce [17:43] Ben Brenner: it’s unique to each client (just like Salesforce Account record iD), but I’m not looking to bring through SF Account ID from a Striven record, just looking to make Striven Customer/Vendor-Number available as a merge field for use in workflow email templates [17:43] Troy: We were hoping we could find the number you needed in a Different location in the system so we could solve it for you today [17:43] Ben Brenner: See screenshot I postd above [17:43] Ben Brenner: the number is just the standard number you assign to each customer/vendor [17:43] Ben Brenner: Just want to expose it as a merge field [17:44] Ben Brenner: you already have Primary-Phone and -Name as standard fields exposed [17:44] Troy: Understood it would be an enhancement request that we can create from the Task this chat will create. [17:44] Troy: We can keep you udpated from there. [17:45] Troy: Is there anything else we can help you with Today? [17:45] Ben Brenner: no, tha’ts it [17:46] Troy: Great have a MErry Christmas!!
