Name of Feature/Request: Add an option to change status for Bulk Sales orders at once
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Enable users to select multiple Sales Orders at once to modify their status, primarily for completing a batch of orders processed on a given day. The selection should allow users to pick non-consecutive order numbers rather than a sequential range. | Frequency: This issue impacts daily operations, as batch processing is a frequent need for many organizations handling high sales volumes. On average, users process dozens to hundreds of orders per day, making manual updates impractical. | The primary goal is to reduce manual workload and processing time for large batches of Sales Orders.Users need flexibility to choose specific, non-sequential orders, rather than updating an entire range. This improvement will streamline order processing, minimize errors, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Existing Filters & Bulk Actions: Users can filter orders but cannot apply status updates in bulk.
Reports & Data Exporting: Users have tried exporting orders, modifying them externally, and re-Importsing data, but this is not user-friendly and adds complexity.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: “We are wondering if there is a method, or possibility to add one, to select multiple Sales Orders at once to modify their status. This would mostly be used to complete a batch of orders processed on a given day. The order numbers in a batch are not always sequential, so we would need a way to manually select individual orders instead of specifying a range of Sales Order numbers.” | Previously accomplished: Currently, users must manually update the status of each Sales Order one by one, which is time-consuming and inefficient, especially for large batches.
