Account Notes to show on all Customer pages relating to the Customer especially Projects
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this:
Frequency: daily | When there is a customer alert, it’s usually something that needs to be noted for every task. Sometimes it’s who to contact, or something as serious as a frozen account. When those messages are only shown on the customer dashboard, it’s easy to get lost. Having this message more visible on all pages related to the customer would be much more helpful and ensure that the notes are seen and followed.
Attempted Solutions So Far:
We can set a description at the Customer level that will automatically populate on a Task for that Customer. From the Customer Dashboard if you navigate to their Waffle Menu>Settings>Task Settings at the bottom of this screen. Click “Add New Description”. Then you can set a specific Task Type to add this description to so that every Task that is created with this Task Type for this Customer will automatically populate on the Task. You can choose to replace or append the description set at the Task Type level. If you have nothing set at that level, I would recommend just replacing. Finally, you can set whatever description you want in the box provided and you can create as many of these as needed. This part of the process would be manual, but once it is set up it will populate automatically.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software:
Ideally any account alerts would show on project related to that customer and tasks related to that customer. Showing the alerts at the project level at a minimum would be extremely helpful! It would be hard to get everyone to follow a new process to add a note to both the customer dashboard and all task types so I think it would be more helpful if messages that are already added at the customer level are shown.
