Name of Feature/Request: Ability to tag assets in opportunities
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Ability to tag assets in opportunities. Also, have assets carry over from tasks to opportunities when an opp is created from a task with a tagged asset. Customer Requirements: Things to Consider: This would make it significantly quicker to reference applicable assets as there is no easy way to even get straight to customer assets from the Opp screen. Promised Date: Files/Links/s: Original Description:2 related items to better manage Opportunities:1) Task types “IT-Opportunity/Recommendation” do not have the ability to tag assets like other IT-Support or IT-Add/Move/Change tasks. This would be convenient for understanding what are the affected assets to be considered for the task. <~ this is added to a duplicated task.2) It would be awesome if Opportunities could have assets tagged in them. This would make it significantly quicker to reference applicable assets as there is no easy way to even get straight to customer assets from the Opp screen. - Additionally, if #1 above is addressed, and an Opp is created from Task, could the tagged assets transfer over to the new Opp?
