Ability to limit/cap number of available time offs by type.

Name of Feature/Request: Ability to limit/cap number of available time offs by type.

What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: A setting in the time off type to cap/limit number of available offs. | Frequency: For every employee new or old, taking or not taking leave | The max is 25 days for anyone, and it does not reset. So even after less than 2 years of employment, you could potentially hit the full 25 days. It never expires, so that’s why I need to use the Vacation Adjustment page every month to remove days if they’re over 25.
I was always hoping for a field called “Max days” or something within the Accrual setting of the Time off category. That way any carry-over with accrual settings just wouldn’t get added if it was already at that max value.

Attempted Solutions So Far: In the beginning of the month, the customer goes into the vacation adjustment page (Time Off Adjustment), and bring those over 25 days manually, down to exactly 25 by filtering for the 1st of the month. It never expires, so that’s why he need to use the Vacation Adjustment page every month to remove days if they’re over 25.

Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: Our company has a max accrual of PTO of 25 days. They’re allowed to carry this time over, so we do not reset the amount. Near the beginning of the month, I’ll go into the vacation adjustment page (Time Off Adjustment), and bring those over 25 days, down to exactly 25 by filtering for the 1st of the month. It’s usually only a couple users. However, this month I noticed that a couple people got a notification even though I did not adjust their time (0.00 adjustment). I checked the adjustment log and found the odd number of hours there (see attached). How is this calculated or where did it come from?

Missouri voted in a PTO/minimum wage law that required 10 days of Sick Time to roll over each year BUT put a limit of 10 days used per year on it at the same time. Having no max allowed to be used means they can accrue time that isn’t really available, making approving time VERY difficult to track.

It would also be fantastic to be able to get Hours, PTO and Holiday pay on the same custom report. As of now, it takes two reports to get hours and PTO and there is no report for holiday pay or bonuses.
