#1 The job costing features are worthless without a way to code all transactions to a project including journal entries. Anyone who has a need for job costing can’t use your solutions because specifically journal entries can’t be coded to Project Management. Most companies use a payroll company to do their payroll and Imports the payroll transactions as journal entries. Those journal entries and the dollars for people’s pay is a very large part of the cost of Project Management and in your solution, there isn’t a way to include that cost without a very painful and inefficient work around. This seems so simple to accomplish as you only really need an available field to type in a project number, then the ability to run a report across the platform on that field. I know your project system is very task driven, but most of the ones I see don’t even need that. They simply need the ability to tie the costs together in a report on one basic field. Even Quickbooks gives you this ability although the functionality is very basic. Basic is better than not available at all.
