**Name of Feature/Request** : Button to “Update Pricing on Expired Sales Order”

**What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur with this** : During peak seasons (fall/winter), our team handles an average of **10 customers per week** presenting expired Sales Orders. This translates to ~100 minutes (1.67 hours) of lost administrative time per week per rep.

**Attempted solutions so far** :Currently, reps must either rebuild the entire Sales Order from scratch or copy lines individually while manually referencing updated price lists.

**Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven** :

1. While Striven supports saving quotes as templates, this approach only works for generic, standardized packages. It is inefficient for custom, site-verified quotes that feature unique measurements, specific component configurations, and tailored labor lines.
2. A Sales Order for custom installations (such as hearth and fireplace setups) represents valuable field data collected during on-site visits. Re-creating these line items introduces a risk of omitting critical hardware, accessories, or custom labor specs.
3. Sales representatives are frequently on live calls or face-to-face with clients who expect immediate pricing updates while discussing other aspects of their project. Forcing reps to reconstruct 10+ line items while holding a conversation leads to missed details, customer frustration, and unnecessary operational stress.

Just FYI for those in the Hearth Industry that are about to see an uptick in people wanting to re-quote for this season, Our current workaround is:

### **The Customer Account Toggle Method:**

1. We created a faux customer called `VV Refresh Pricing` with NO contact info. NOTE: We created this faux customer w/ “VV” to stop Striven from populating other customers/records in the drop down box.

2. Navigate to the old, lost, or canceled sales order in Striven. Click the gear icons and **Copy Sales Order**.

3. Delete the existing customer’s name in the **Customer** field.

4. Select customer `VV Refresh Pricing` to Refresh Pricing.

5. When Striven prompts: “Would you like to supersede the pricing for the items on this order?”, **click YES.**

6. Clear the Customer field again, type the original customer’s name.

7. _ **Second Reversion Prompt Possible but we do not have tiered pricing just various discount line items:** _

8. Confirm all unit prices have updated to current catalog rates, then click **Save**.
