[17:44] Jason Boyd: I see you can select the customer but not the preticular sales order [17:45] Kanishak: Let me check that for you [17:47] Kanishak: May I please ask what exactly you are trying to do? [17:48] Jason Boyd: We are trying to reclassify charges to show cost against preticular sales orders [17:54] Kanishak: Thank you for providing the information, You can use a Bill with Vendor as, “My Company”, Put in a Positive expense line under the Expense Tab on the Bill and connect it to the Customer>Sales Order, Post that please enter a Negative Expense line which is not related to the Customer>Sales Order and Finally, Bill will show as “Zero”, but the posting journal will have the association you need. [17:56] Jason Boyd: Ok. I was just making sure there was no way to do it in a journal entry [17:56] Jason Boyd: Is that something that might be added? [17:57] Kanishak: You mean Added as a Feature in Striven? [17:59] Kanishak: We can consider it as an Enhancement request upon your approval [18:03] Jason Boyd: We would like to have that option. I think using a bill to accomplish this is more complicated [18:05] Kanishak: Noted, I will raise the Enhancement request on your behalf and will keep you updated on the request, You will also receive an email to request for further information as to “Why” you want us to add this feature, Please do reply to that email with as much information as you can so we can advocate for your cause.
