# Sales-Receipt-Specific Default Inventory Location

Currently, Striven applies the same default inventory location across all transaction types.

In our business, **most Sales Receipts are fulfilled directly from the showroom** , not the main warehouse. As a result, sales reps must manually change the inventory location on **every** Sales Receipt, increasing friction and the risk of inventory mismatches.

**Request:**  
Allow a **separate default inventory location for Sales Receipts** , ideally configurable **at the Sales Rep level** , and independent of Sales Orders or other transaction workflows.

**Benefits:**

- Reduces repetitive manual steps

- Improves inventory accuracy

- Better reflects real-world point-of-sale behaviour

Curious if others are running into the same limitation.
