Name of Feature/Request: PDF Formatiing
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Add ability to have column headers for Items section within Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, and Invoice formats carry over to next page when the items section falls on more than one page. | Frequency: Daily | Not having a header row at the top of each page makes our long forms difficult to read and gives them an unprofessional appearance. Using manual work arounds is time consuming and error prone. It also defeats the purpose of adopting Striven to streamline processes. It also frustrates our larger clients when trying to read our forms since they are more prone to having forms well over 2 pages.
Attempted Solutions So Far: We have removed as many spaces and page breaks as possible in the form formats to try to keep the item list to one page.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: PDF formats for Purchase Orders, Sales Orders and Invoices do not carry the headers for the Items sections to page 2 and beyond. There are also not page numbers on the Purchase and Sales Orders PDFs. The page numbers are on the Invoice PDFs. I have an example of a Sales Order PDF attached | Previously accomplished: We are using the current PDF format and trying to shorten our form data as much as possible to keep it to one page. When it has to go to two pages we either send a confusing form to the client or recreate the form with MS Word or Filemaker. In our previous system, Hansa World, all PDF forms carried the header over to the second page.
