Name of Feature/Request: Payment on the related to reflects the total on the invoice not the original amount paid
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: When looking at the quick preview of related to items if a payment is larger than the invoice amount the payment only shows the invoiced amount and not the actual payment amount. We feel the preview should be more clear.

Maybe it should show “Payment amount” and also “Payment used”? [19:18] Tay’Lia: Ok, just to confirm, you had an invoice that was originally for the amount paid, but then the invoice was updated to the amount shown in the screenshot provided? Is the new invoice amount correct to the payment? [19:30] Dustin Shepard: We are making adjustments on our end. I just wanted to show you what the “Related to” pop-up says and how it does not correctly reflect payment info [19:31] Tay’Lia: Yes, I understand I am just looking into why it is showing the amounts that way. [19:32] Dustin Shepard: Our rep modified the invoice after payment was made which then adjusted the “Related to” amount. [19:34] Tay’Lia: But you are wanting the amount to reflect the original full payment amount [19:34] Dustin Shepard: It should probably reflect both. It is a bit confusing how it is currently being reflected [19:38] Tay’Lia: I understand, I see why it is reflecting that way when breaking down the payment itself to reflect what is on the invoice. But I can also see how that can be confusing as well. This is would be an Enhancement request because this is working as expected from my understanding. But I am happy to create a task and look into this further, because I one point I thought it did show at least the full amount paid. [19:38] Tay’Lia: It is possible an update may have changed that.
