# How Are You Using Report Builder (Beta) Computed Columns?

The new [Report Builder (Beta)](https://app.striven.com/next/reports#/custom-reports) has launched, and the ability to add computed columns has arrived with it. Computed Columns allow you to calculate values based on the numerical data from other columns on your reports. These columns can be used in countless ways, allowing for more powerful reporting, without needing to perform external calculations.
