Attempted Solutions So Far: Keeping the various numbers in the internal notes on the item page, but when entering a PO you have to open each item to access the info.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: Currently each item in Striven can have a manufacturer, manufacturer part #, and a preferred vendor. I am curious if we can set up what the vendor’s item number is, and if it’s possible to list more than 1? For example, we but Malic Acid from 3 different vendors. The manufacturer is the same, it just depends on which vendor has the cheapest price for the quantity we’re buying. It would be great to have a “vendor list” for each item and the corresponding item # for that vendor. In my example, malic acid is made by Thirumalia, part number DL-MALICACID. We can buy this from Batory Foods under item 516627, from Univar under item 66-MA2, or from BulkSupplements.com under item 826647. Organizing all that information under the item would be really helpful so we can keep track of it all. | Previously accomplished: Not accomplished now. We record the most used vendor number but if we order from someone else we have to look it up.
