Name of Feature/Request: Future Feature - Type Aheads on the filters for custom reports
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: To be able to continue typing while searching custom reports | Frequency: Every time Chris is searching in custom reports | To be able to search easier while the report is loading.

Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: The above filters for 'servers: ’ take quite a while to get to. Because the current filters, at least for custom fields, are alphabetical you need to manually (and slowly) scroll through a very long list if you want something towards the bottom.
I made a report using 6 custom fields for assets, and because they used ‘Servers’ ‘San/Nas’ and ‘User Devices’ it took nearly 10 minutes to create the filters for the report.
The order of records can also appear random before you get to the custom fields, which makes it a little hard to find what you need, it may be unclear if what you filter on is even available. I can say with confidence that the search field for adding columns to reports has made that delightfully easy to find what I need:
As a result I feel a type ahead would increase the usability (I imagine less determined would have abandoned the report I was making using the above fields I referenced) and reduce the frustration and labor in creating custom reports that have a large number of possible filters.
Usage need: ad-hoc, not directly related to a particular project need currently. The costs here are much higher in frustration and perceived quality of the feature than $$, though as I alluded to, I suspect some reports that would deliver value just don’t get made because they are too time-consuming/frustrating to create.
