# Allow custom field sections to be collapsed or showing by defailt at the Task Type Level

**Name of Feature/Request** : Allow custom field sections to be collapsed or showing by defailt at the Task Type Level

Currently the only way to have a custom field section be not collapsed by default is to have a required field within the section. I want there to be sections that automatically display even though there is no required custom fields within it. I think it should be a configurable setting at the task type level that lets you decide whether a section is displayed or collapsed.
